Looking for a suitable RAM upgrade for Core 2 Duo Proccessor.

I have Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86GHz proccessor alongside with motherboard Samsung Zeus 60 R1.07G . Please I want to know what size of RAM that I can use to upgrade that PC's performance.Now I have 1GB DDR2 RAM with 6M Cache memory.Please help me to decide.
I'm running Windows 10 Professional 32 bit Operating System.

Hi,

You only have Windows 10 32 bit, meaning you can only have 4 gb ram. I would go for 2 strips of ddr2 (i dont know if your motherboard supports ddr3) 2 gb ram. That way it will be 2x2.

Yeah my motherboard doesn't support DDR3.

Yeah my motherboard doesn't support DDR3 Type.Now I have two 512MB RAM cards in two slots installed in my motherboard.My motherboard has four memory slots.I think to upgrade my RAM by adding another two 512MB DDR2 RAM cards to other two slots in motherboard.Therefore the total memory will be 512mb*4 =2GB.I want to ensure if that solution works for me.

Hi,

i would say, just take those two 512 mb ram cards, and add 2 gb of ram card. I don't know if the 512 mb times 4 will work..
