Hello, so I recently changed my GPU from GTX 550Ti to GTX 660 and i noticed that my cpu fan stopped working after the change. That is very strange because if i put my 550 in, CPU fan works, if i put my 660, CPU fan stops working. I've tried changing options in BIOS, didn't help, speedfan app didn't help.

Check inside your case and make sure there aren't any loose screws, exposed wires, or other issues that could be causing a grounding issue. However, it sounds like your PSU is probably bad. CX600 has problems:

Cheap PSU's fail often. Tom's has reviews of some high quality replacements:

But good PSU's can be found on Amazon as well. Look for one with a higher wattage than your current one and a nice warranty. I recommend a 650 or better because the wattage rating actually only refers to the peak wattage, not the wattage that it can sustain. Buying a high quality PSU will save you money in the long...

What is the make, model and wattage of your power supply (wattage is usually part of the model number)?

Looking at the specs of the two cards, the 550Ti has a max wattage of 116w while the 660 has a maximum wattage of 145w. There is also a 50 watt difference in minimum system power (400w vs 450w):

The difference may not seem like much, but if you bought the system pre-built then they likely threw in the cheapest PSU that would power the system.
