So i just got a new stick of ram, its 8gb hyperX savage 2400MHz. As soon as i put the ram in my pc started giving the error 55 on startup but after it automatically restarts about 4 times it boots up. After it had booted up i saw that the ram was only running at a frequency of 800MHz so i went into the bios to check the settings and i found the setting for it and amped the frequency up to 2400MHz. After saving and restarting i saw that it made no difference. Anyone know what is going on?

Edit: I havnt tested this properly but i think i have fixed the booting problem by change the manual RAM frequency to auto instead of having it set at 2400MHz.

Solution
Best bet will be to leave it at mobo default, 1333 or 1600, the 3570 is extremely doubtful to carry 2400, generally need a K model to run 2133 and above with a slight OC on the CPU
