Using a 16gb Ultra fit usb 3.0 sandisk. Starts at around 30-40mb/s after 5 seconds drops to Under 10mb/s. Pluged in Usb3.0
Fortmated to 4096byte allocation unit size. NTSF.

Using samsung 850evo as main drive.

Using Maximus VIII Ranger as motherboard.

Using flash drive in usb 2.0 -> 8-10MB/s. ?!!!
I remember when i was rocking my Q6600 i was getting 16-18Mb trasfer speeds on a Usb 2.0.

Using it to copy files of 1-5GB size. HOW CAN I FIX IT?

Welcome to the community, Tuzara1!

I'd recommend you check your USB hub controller drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's official website. Once you select your model and OS version, you should be able to see all the available drivers & utilities. Make sure you update the drivers manually from the hardware manufacturer, rather than using the generic ones that Windows Updates installs. They tend to be a bit outdated and cause performance issues.

I'd also suggest you try copying data to your flash drive on another computer and see how the transfer speed will be there.

Good luck! :)
