Title says it all.

It is cheaper for me to buy the single 4TB HDD (Only by about $10), however it is only 5900RPM whereas the double 2TB HDDs will be 7200RPM.

Will mainly be using them to record to and maybe occasionally store games on.

What should I go for?

Solution
2x2TB. In case that one of them stops working, you'd have the other one to use.
Much easier also to install the 2 TB one in order to be detected by the PC.
