Hi all, ive been looking in the forums and i see something of the same question.
Just bought a new PNY 240gb ssd drive. When i run speed test on it, the program says "The boot partition is located on a SATA 3.0 SSD but it's only operating at SATA 2.0 speeds. This can happen when the drive has been inadvertently plugged into a SATA 2.0 port."
Now i plugged it into the same port as the original OS drive, this was a replacement. And on the motherboard it says on all the ports sata 3. So i assume thats a sata 3 port.
So how do i get it up to the sata 3 speeds, what am i doing wrong?
thanks
