CPU, Motherboard, and GPU Extremely Overheated. Temperatures ranging from 110's to 120's

My CPU stays at a constant 119-120C when not even running a single program.
Other than the processor the motherboard and GPU are running at around 70-80C.

is it throttling due to this? and does the heat sink feel warm? because if no then this is a temperature probe issue. that CPU should be dead at that temp.
but what is the ambient? that motherboard and GPU temps are on the warm side too.

Sorry if I sound really new but I have no idea what an ambient is. But yes it is throttling, very bad. And I unfortunately have not had time since posting this to check the heatsink.

I also unparked all four cores of the CPU a while back if that helps.

ambient is the temp of the room your PC is in. Unparking generally is not an issue, but it often does not accomplish much.
What kind of heat sink do you have?

Oh haha. The temp of the room is around 60 to 70F and I honestly have no idea what type of heat sink I have. I've had one look inside the actual computer because the laptop has a snap-off cover and I unfortunately dont have the tools to remove it.

oh a laptop. does the laptop ever fell really hot? I feel you would notice a 126C cpu burning up your lap. as this is a laptop you are probably going to have to RMA it. Laptops are very hard to fix, they just like to be replaced.

It pretty much feels hot whenever the thing is on. It's not a big deal i'll be building a new desktop in short order anyway. Thanks for the help man. Have been dealing with this for at least a year.
