Hi Friends
I recently upgraded to gigabyte g1 gtx 960 from hd 6670.
My problem is that when i hook up my TV through hdmi and monitor to dvi-d multiple display setup works perfectly. But when i disable sony tv because i'm using monitor as primary display still bios spash screen is shown on TV(i.e. HDMI) instead of monitor. After bios splash screen is over windows boot normally on monitor.
Guys please help i never had this kind of problem with ati.

Solution
i found a solution.
As i upgraded from hd 6670 which is with legacy bios, i remembered bios is shown on both screen hdmi and dvi but as i upgraded to gtx 960 than r9 380 bios only goes to hdmi may be uefi tells gpu that hdmi is first priority.
Then i went to bios setup of motherboard and selected csm compatibility module and enabled it, then many sub option shows up like boot drive, pci-e etc on each single option chose uefi only or uefi first and save setting. Voila bios on both screen.
If any one still has the problem just enable csm and leave other option unaltered.
I think dvi is not supported in uefi system.
Not exactly a big problem, but i guess it's annoying.

You might try using DDU to do a driver cleanup the reinstall your Windows drivers.

I'm not sure how the PRIMARY monitor is decided during boot-up. Microsoft is just booting up so NVidia might not even be in control. The card may simply have an order for detected outputs then SWITCH to what the NVidia software has listed.

That's my guess at least.

Already done it, And one more thing if uninstall driver using ddu with hdmi connected signal only comes through hdmi and no signal on dvi.
May be it's not a big problem for you, but every time i want to use bios, i have to switch on the tv.
