Hello i just built myself a brand new system and i'm having some problems with it.
Mobo:Msi Gaming 5
Cpu: I5 4690k
Gpu: Gtx 970 strix using these drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96877/en-us
OS: windows 8.1 64 bit.
Ram 16 gigs of ddr3 ram @1866
Tx650 psu.
The problem is whenever i'm in game the core clock of my gpu sits at around 5-700Mhz, this severely limits my fps in all games, i have set "prefere maximum preformance" in the nvidea control panel, but that did not help. I'm getting quite upset now because i've just shelled out a ton of dough and i have nothing to show for it, please help!
