Is this ram compatible with my motherboard?

Solution
Obviously a documentation error.

I would note. If your manual states, "4 x 1.5v DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 gigabytes of system memory" that means 4x2GB RAM modules for a TOTAL of 8GB and not 8GB per RAM slot.

Your motherboard memory specifications:

4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 1600/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

4x1.5v DDR3 DIMM sockets for a maximum 16GB of RAM means you cannot install larger than 4GB RAM modules. An 8GB RAM module is not compatible with your system.

Off the top of my head, I cannot say why the Kingston RAM you previously attempted to use did not work.

But on the manual it says that 4 x 1.5V DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 gigabyte of system memory? How is that?
