The problem I'm experiencing is that the graphics card has stopped working according to Windows. I picked this up after playing Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor for a total of 15 hours over the past 2 days. The game experienced some frame rate stutter yesterday for around 20 seconds every 2 hours or so.
> Removing drivers in safe mode using display driver uninstaller (DDU).
> Reinstalling the latest NVIDIA drivers.
> Restored Windows to an earlier date before the latest Windows updates were applied.
> Formatted and reinstalled Windows.
> Removed the battery and let it stand for 30 minutes.
All of these routes have amounted to nothing. I'm unsure what else I can do to see if there are perhaps other error codes or diagnostics I can run on the card. I am also tempted to load Linux onto my external and see if the card works in Linux.
