Hello!

I fitted my PC with a new graphics card a few days ago, I upgraded from a GTX 750 1GB to a GTX 960 4GB, and I noticed that when I did that, one of the fans on my PC's case stopped working.

It has two fans on the front of it, and one of them still works as it used to, though the other has stopped. I'm fairly sure it still has power going to it as the first still works just fine.

My temperatures are fine (Hovering about 50-60c under full load), I'm just curious as to what might be causing that one to never turn on.

Cheers.

I'm not quite sure how we'd do that. We swapped the PSU at the same time and we were very careful to swap the cables out one-by-one. Looking in the case now, it looks as though the two front fans of it share one power connector only, and one of them is still going fine.

I did wonder, and this probably sounds really stupid, but is it possible the PC only has settings for, say, three fans? My GPU has an additional fan built onto it compared to my previous GPU, is it possible the PC is applying the setting for the case fan to the GPU fan now? I'm probably wrong, but I don't see how it could not be powered. The PSU is a 500W compared to my old 350W, so I'm sure there's more than enough power in there.
