is it a good enough system to play games? i recently had a 2gb xfx r7 260x graphic card and a 500 watt power supply it used to be ok, until i made these changes today

@Nardi, This is what I would buy if I were in your situation. If you prefer something cheaper than pick any tier 1 or 2 PSU from the tier list below. The 1,000 watt rating is perfect for someone with your setup, because it gives you the option of upgrading to two R9 390's in a CrossFire configuration. The below power supply is almost always my weapon of choice for powering and protecting my system components.

I NEVER USED TO EXPERIENCE THIS ISSUE BEFORE UNTIL I CHANGE THE POWER SUPPLY FROM A 500WATT MYO, AND A XFX R7 260X GRAPHIC CARD I ENHANCE A BIT FOR MORE GAMING BUT BEEN EXPERIENCE A LOUDER SOUND FROM MY PROCESSOR

@Nardi, is the sound "definitely" coming from the CPU? If so, then it would clearly have to be your CPU air cooler. Any chance that you could make a recording of the sound and post on YouTube or somewhere that you can post a link to? Accepting your assumption the the sound is from the CPU, then perhaps you need to replace the CPU heatsink fan. Personally, I think it's worth reseating the CPU cooler *IF* you have (1) thermal CPU compound (e.g. Arctic Silver 5) and (2) isopropyl alcohol, to clean off the old compound before you apply the new stuff. Since this problem began after you replaced your 500 watt Myo, I'm thinking that the CPU cooler got jostled and needs to be reseated or replaced.

By the way, what is your CPU? AMD FX83xx ? And what CPU cooler are you using? By the way, what country do you live in?
