Low FPS on TF2 with a decent computer, can't figure out the issue.

Hello,

I am having an issue with TF2, in that my FPS is very low, no matter what I try.

I have tried the frames cfg which didn't help. I have tried the no hats mod as well as other things I thought may affect it. Still nothing.

My specs are:

Processor AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor
Manufacturer AMD
Speed 3.8 GHz
Number of Cores 4
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
Manufacturer NVIDIA
Chipset GeForce GTX 960
Dedicated Memory 2048 MB
Total Memory 4.0 GB
Memory 8.0 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit
Service Pack 0
Size 64 Bit
Edition

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

start messing around with the game settings, speacially compare your performance with/without v-sync chacked, also play around with the different advanced rendering details. Don't think it will change anything but also check the resolution and maybe bring it down if your monitor is super old
