Black screen with Windows 10. Custom-built Cyberpower PC with GIGABYTE Z87-HD3 MB. No error messages or cursor. Fans are turning. When I reseat the memory modules (I have 2), the PC comes back, but the next time after reboot, the screen is black again.

I disconnected all the peripherals and connected the monitor to the video port on the MB, but it didn't help.

Please help

Thank you

Try performing a system restore or a repair install though I'd highly suggest reinstalling your OS. Its a widely documented case where removing even a 24 pin cable during a maintenance run can cause the OS to think a component has been swapped. The activation key though is bound to your hardware so any component changes will make it think a new system is in place with an old licence key.

If this is an installation via anew or the free upgrade path then try and reinstall it via a bootable USB installer.
