I water cooled my Intel i7 4790k and my temps on idle are around 30C and load is around 55C is this ok. I originally water cooled my CPU to overclock it a bit but i'm not sure if it is staying cool enough with the default clock
55c is a bit high but overclocks are safe till about 70c so you still have some head room there. However I would make sure you mounted the cooler correctly. It's pretty easy to mess up and bad contact can cause higher temps.
Then that's much too high. Try cleaning the case? Also, what's the temperature of the room?
the room temp is 74F and i also replaced the thermal paste that came on the the liquid cooler to try to lower temps because they were at 40C before that.

fans and pump controlled by pwn? try manually changing the pwn or percentage so it moves more liquid and air for better cooling before u replace the unit completely, unless u return it if u can.
