Hy , I replaced my Laptop's HDD (1 TB Segate) with a SSD ( Samsung 850 Evo 120 gb).
- I placed the ssd inside the laptop, where the hdd was.
- And the Hdd in a CADDY (in place of Dvd)
- I installed windows 10 ( clean install ,activated)
- I will use SSD only for Os , and the HDD for games.
Did it in this order.
1) Replace The Ssd in the laptop.
2) Install Windows.
3) SSD - optimization ( that settings )
4) Put the Hdd in the caddy , then in laptop.
5) Wipe the HDD
The ssd Works Great , the hdd works great , Updated the ssd firmware with Samsung magician and did the optimisations , after that , when I shut down the laptop it stops , but when I start it again the battery is almost drained out , and I can feel a little heat coming from the fan (when the pc is turned off) .
I used Samsung magician , enabled rapid mode , disabled hibernation , and I did the optimisations , the ssd is healthy.
When I shut down the laptop , it doesn't stop , so I keep pressing the button until it stops totally ( only the fan I hear working) , then I start it , and shut down it , and it stops totally .
I did this and in this morning the battery was 0% , so I assume that it didn't shut down correctly.
I searched for solutins, I found nothing , please help.
Thanks.
