Hi there kind reader, I need someone to check out my plans to build a gaming pc for my friend and tell me of there is any incompatibility. If there is anything to be improved or replaced please let me know. The budget is around 750-800 USD . Here are the parts I chose. (Please do bare in mind that I'm in fact a Malaysian so certain parts may vary in price here in my country)

Mobo: Asrock N69C-GS4 (AM3+)
Cpu: AMD FX6350 (AM3+)
Gpu: Sapphire R9 380 Nitro Dual-X 4gb GDDR 5
RAM: KINGSTON FURY C10 2X 8g
Hdd: WD 1TB
PSU: Seasonic S12ii Bronze 620w
Case: Thermaltake v3 Black

Total comes to about 680 USD. We are gonna be using the balance 120USD to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse(Recommendation please) . I already have a copy of Windows to install. Thanks for the help in advance.

Nope, he doesn't specifically want AMD. Okay if I swap out the GPU for a Gtx 960 4g, will that do the trick or would I need to go full Intel. And If I do need to go Intel, what would you recommend?

As I saw your in post parts vary by cost the 960 is a good choice but i'm assuming not OC the cpu go for the amd cpu or imo get a i5 4460, with a ASUS H81M-K for motherboard as for a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I recommend a 60hz monitor BENQ GL2460HM would be good for now until he/she could spend a bit more and get a 144hz monitor, as for mouse get at least over 2500dpi and a wired usb keyboard. Another benefit is spend a bit more on 6th gen i5 6500 or 6400 get a lga 1151 motherboard(do not get the z170 motherboard no point if not OCing cpu) of your choosing get 2133mhz ddr4 and try to get a little future proof as ddr3 will become more expensive but again this is all based imo

Okay, After taking into consideration what you said, i reworked the build and went with an Intel build. Here it is ;

Mobo: Asus H81M-K
CPU : Intel Core i5 4460
GPU : ASUS GTX960 STRIX D2OC 4Gb
Ram : D3 8GB PC1333/1600 x1
Hdd : Toshiba 1TB HDD
PSU : Aerocool AF Series 600W
Case: Cooler Master K280

One more thing, should i take the 2Gb or 4Gb version of the Asus GTX960 ? Is the 4Gb one worth the extra money?

That depends if you see it worth it. The extra 2gb would be worth it to me. But I don't know what the price difference is? Also don't get a single 8gb ddr3 stick get the 4x2 sticks to equal 8gbs that being because you'll get better performance.

With that I understand but at that point I would upgrade the board and go to 16gb but also know that there is almost no reason to go beyond 8gb of ram if its strictly for gaming and browsing/netflix/youtube.
