My PC is 3 or 4 months old it was working good but suddenly maybe a month(or less) ago the problem started. I haven't tried many things but so far I came to know that it shuts down when I play for long hours. First time was when I played Mad max for many hours, my PC might have been overheated next time was when I played again(1 or 2 hours) and clicked exit.
No problem with the game cause the same thing happened while playing Batman Arkham Knight but I had completed that game before with no such problem. When I tested The Wolf among us it worked fine even while played for long hours(haven't tried many games as I am AFRAID) another game to mention AC unity it to worked fine but now I can play it for only approx.10-15 minutes. I accept i don't have any thing to cool my PC except some fans but there might also be some other reason or multiple reasons, also cannot understand is it CPU or GPU causing problem.

Specs: Asus M5 A97 LE R2.0 9 series chipset
HyerX 8gb ram
AMD FX6300 6 core 3.40Ghz
Sapphire R9 270x 4gb Oc edition
VIP Gold 500wt psu

Best way is to check is in BIOS and return to default settings, I would advise to overclock that CPU but make sure you know how and read few overclocking guides... for gpu you can check using catalyst software from AMD I believe...

Aight goodluck, about overclocking stick to the multiplier & I would suggest a max of 4ghz on stock voltages on that board without any extra vrm cooling - the board is good for 140w tdp so it'll handle it easily. I wouldn't go above 3.8ghz with a stock cooler - buy something better if available.
This will give you a decent performance boost over stock - bear in mind the turbo function only runs 2 or 3 cores at max speed not all 6.

As you said I reverted to optimized settings and tested Batman AK and it still did not work and it shut down very quickly 10 or 15 max 20 minutes while driving pls help

Or should I test it when PC completely cools down (though it was cool now)
Anyone pls suggest some thing so I can keep this PC as it is and do something in future or replace or buy new comp (future)

Do not use 3rd party program to stress your pc! It will fckup your voltages and games will never get your pc on 100% load all the time anyway. Does it work when you're not using stress programs ? Use hwinfo and speccy to check computer temperatures.

I'm not gonna repeat about AIDA stability testing.. but you should do one anyways.

270X has TDP of 180W
FX6300 has 95W TDP.

If i read the numbers correctly from some google photos about that PSU it's hardly able to provide much over 200W from 12V rail, if so thats the system killer here.
Can you provide more details about that PSU?

It's VIP 500W GOLD (460W Continuous/500W Peak), other name for it is FSP Blue Storm 500. Actually it is made for 460w and relabeled as 500w.

"Verdict

In essence this is a modest power supply for a modest system. The relatively short cables means this is probably not one to use in an oversized case and the colour scheme isn't really one to show off. The failure to start at 100 per cent load may be of concern to some, but it's worth remembering that even a fairly high-end gaming rig is unlikely to push above 400W so you should still be safe. Still, there are better alternatives on the market."

Well for this moment we are just guessing. You should really put all on stock and start some stability tests and observe behavior.
First AIDA64, it puts a load on CPU+MEM, then Furmark for GPU test, if you pass at stock then it was either a OC fault or PSU getting old. If it fails on any of those tests then it's either a PSU or the tested part failing.
The main suspects now are PSU and GPU.

This might point to cooling issues, weak cooler, bad thermal paste distribution, broken fan, etc. This is even more likely when you said that PC was working fine but not anymore. From what I read FX 6300 shuts down at 90C, so if you are above 80C with stock speeds there is certainly something fishy with cooling.
First of all undust the radiator and if you have a thermal paste apply it again, then repeat the test with AIDA 64.
There still might be a PSU issues involved but we need to take out CPU stability of equation with putting lower temps on the CPU.
