on my real temp 3.0 i see 17c 15c 16c 18c (4 cores 15 4670k not overclock 3.4ghz using stock intel cooler)
and on speccy it says i have 40c (changes from 40 to 48)
but both have the same celcius for gpu which is 50c (evga gtx 970 superclock)
Which one is reliable?! Am i missing something?

my computer specification
motherboard: b85m-e/csm
cpu: i5 4670k (not overclocked) running 3.4ghz stock speed
ram: 8gb running 1600mhz or 798mhz (10-10-10-30)
antec 700w psu

i was thinking of upgrading my cpu cooler to kuhler 650 for lower celcius, because ive been looking at speccy most of the time not real temp 3.0,
sorry english is not my first language, thanks for your time

Consider what your room temp is, and if that is idle then the 40c makes more sense, and idle 15-18c is low for a stock cooler unless ur room temp is cold. Your cpu can reach up to 100c before it throttles and performance lowers, so theres quite a bit so 40c isnt bad, http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1800828/intel-temperature-guide.html, mentions ambient/room temp, and cpu temp limits

45 in summer is OK. If it's 30C ambient, your idle should be at least 5-8C higher than in the winter. Do you have air conditioning? AC will help you out and your PC. It can be a bit pricey, but it just makes temperatures so much better.
