I'm wondering if you guys can suggest stuff that is good value and yeah :3.
Specs are as follows:
-Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz
-8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
-ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8H61-MX (LGA1155) (Runs consistently at 64 Degrees)
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
-Storage is a1Tb hard drive as wel as a 256gb ssd
-Power supply is non branded but is also 800w
I have a budget of about £300ish but am willing to go slightly above. I need a rig that will last me the next 2-3 years. Only for gaming really, so yeah :3. I want to be able to run games such as Witcher 3 and fallout 4 at medium to high settings, maybe even ultra? But any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Not too sure what qualifies as a "good" GPU. Also not sure if my motherboard can handle higher speeds?

The shortest way would be to get (second hand) i5-2500 and GTX 970. Thats probably the most you can get without a complete PC upgrade.

Do I actually need a whole new processor?

I'm not really certain that Core i5 2320 at 3 Ghz would be able to take full potential of GTX 970.
It's Sandy Bridge which is 4 generations old model so the gap between the current architecture will be about 25% itself. When you consider the low clocks that only makes the things worse.
i5-2500 or i7-2600 is the most you can put on that mobo so if you can get some second hand for cheap that might be a good idea, otherwise i wouldn't even go for GTX 970, probably better would be to get GTX 960 or R9 280/X and save the rest of the cash.
