I am about to build my first pc after doing research I ended up with these parts, does this look like a good build? My budget is $1000 before taxes and I want to be able to play most pc games at high 1080p full hd settings, but xcom 2 is what made me want to build a pc, so that is what I am going to be playing most of the time.

here are my parts, before comment I want to let you know that I am not going for a 144hz because they are too expnsive, I was going to go for an h series motherboard for about $60 because I am not overclocking but I found this z series on sale for $80 so I thought I might get the better motherboard and maybe overclock in the future. I might add an ssd, maybe now or in the future.
One more question, do all the screws and necessary extras the I need to build the pc come with the components that I am buying? e.g. do processors come with thermal paste?

yes thermal paste comes pre applied to ur cpu... U did good on ur first build if u have a bit more cash go for the K version of the processor as it will help u overclock ur cpu cuz non k versions are not overclockable.. and if ur overclocking in the future keep in mind to get a third party cooler for the cpu as the. stock cooler doesn't support overclocking..
