Few things to check:

-Each GPU should be in the blue PCI-E slots on the MB, make sure there also seated correctly and powered additionally by the PSU (if needed).
-Did you test each card separately in both slots to ensure its not a bad PCI-E slot?
-Make sure the SLI Bridge is connected.
-Do both the cards come up by model (NOT STANDARD VGA ADAPTER) in Device Manager?

Nvidia Control Panel > Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX. Can you take a screenshot and post it here? The option for SLI is Maximize 3D performance and should pick a choose-able option as long as both cards are seated correctly in the darker blue PCI-E slots and powered additionally by the PSU.

If that still isn't working then it might be a similar issue I had last year with a system where my friend was running SLI fine for about 3 months then all of a sudden it stopped working but still recognized both cards. I guess what had happened was some kind of power surge that ruined the PCI-E slot enough that it didn't recognize SLI anymore but worked enough to show the second card and use it for PhysX. It was a very unusual issue but MSI was nice enough to replace the MB and my friend hasn't had issues since.

hiya heres the screen shot and yeah after going over the motherboard manual i know they're in the right pcies i know theyre are seated right and also they are both getting the same amount of power which ive checked in gpu-z im not sure if its a windows 10 thing as my brother (previous owner of the cards) bought these brand new and had used these since so they have been running in his system fine for the past 2 years but hes on windows 8.1 , so i dont know if that could be an issue ?
