PCIE Slot won't take a graphics card.

I have an Asrock H61M-HVS. I'm currently trying to upgrade from a GTX 650 to a GTX 950. However, the PCIE x16 slot doesn't seem to want to take anything. I tried the GTX 950 first, but that wouldn't go in. So I tried reinstalling the GTX 650, but it seems as though on the PCIE slot, directly next to it, there is a part that doesn't want to let it go in. Don't know what the term is for it, but as you can imagine, it is very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

That's the locking tab, give the card a firm push and it will go in the slot.

Gave it a pretty hard push. Not sure if hard enough but I was applying a lot of force to the point I was getting a little scared I would break something. Maybe I'm being a little pansy, but I'll try again.

Edit: Pushing with a looooot of force, still not going in. Don't know what to do.

Stop being a pansy! You could try to move the locking tab out of the way...

Your finger? I would use mine to push it toward the RAM slots if I was having as much trouble as you seem to be having.

Push it north of "heatsink1 pchi" as in the photo, while pushing it down "the card". Good luck!
