Good afternoon everyone. :D

As mentioned in the title I recently bought Corsair Vengeance to upgrade my pc. I mounted them on my Asus motherboard and nothing happened. In particular the pc had power, went on but not even the motherboard green image was displayed on the screen. Obviously it did not boot either. Then I put in again my old ram (generic cheap 1333mhz 2x2Gb) and everything went smooth as usual. :??:

I tried to wait some minutes before putting in the new ram blocks with the PSU unplugged but nothing changed. I can also say that when I turn on my pc it usually makes a "beep" soon after i press the button, with the new ram it does not even after half a minute. Bios seems updated to the last one available.

If anyone has a clue about what to do I would be grateful :)

Your mobo is circa 2009 or so which isn't compatible with the high density memory chips used in modern DDR3, like the Vengeance, best bet will prob be the older original Ripjaws (not the X or Z lines) or their NT series of value DRAM both of which use the older low density chips

Tomorrow I will try to put it into another pc and I will tell you. In the meantime I add that I already tried to put only one stick in at a time and it did not work.
