My question is will performing a reset wipe only the OS Drive, or will it wipe the whole computer?
I have a home built computer running Windows 8.1. I need to reset my computer but I would like it if it then wipe everything.

Re-installing Win 8.1 will wipe out everything on the drive you are installing it on. It will wipe only the drive you are installing it on; will not affect other drives.
However, just to be on the safe side, disconnect other drives, and have only the OS drive present. After you re-install win 8.1 connect the other drives.
