High temperature CPU

Hi I've been having high cpu temperatures lately. The processor would reach 95 degrees when im playing game like cs:go on lowest settings. Normally if Im in the desktop with one chrome tab open I have between 50-60 degrees.

I've got a really small case without any fans, intel i5 3570 cpu, gtx 750ti gpu, corsair cx430 psu, H61M-S1 mobo, Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 hdd and some shit 800mhz no-name ram.

I've opened the case, took off the cpu cooler and cleaned it. It was really hot inside seemed like the heat is coming from the psu but the cpu was really hot as well. I also don't have the thermal paste on the cpu.

Are those temperatures normal if not how could I decrease them?

I feel like my build isn't really good for cooling as I said the case is really small without any fans would be cool if u can suggest me a good case to buy for this build.

Thanks in advance!

Solution

The default Intel cooler is designed to cool intel chips that aren't overclocked. It will do more than a good enough job.
Using thermal paste would be a very good start - it's entire purpose is to fill the tiny cracks in between the CPU and the heatsink, which lets heat transfer more efficiently, leading to better cooling.

What's your case? Why can't you put any fans in it? These temperatures are probably normal for the scenario you're describing, but aren't a good thing.

Wait.. you don't have thermal paste on the CPU? If this is the case.. you answered your own problem. Also it's recommended that you have a case with "some" ventilation. Yes you need thermal paste.. I could recommend you a case, but this depends on your budget and size preference.

My case is some random NTT (polish brand) case it is really small my gpu barely fits inside of it. I'm thinking of buying new case with good fan cooling for a decent price, would be nice if you can suggest something. I've already ordered the thermal paste hopefully it comes asap.

Size does not matter something up to 40 pounds. Thanks!
