Reinstalling Windows 10 and changing Motherboard

So I'm going to be changing my Motherboard to the z97 PCMATE and I5 4690 from an AMD motherboard and processor. The Windows 7 I have on my PC is OEM, but I'm using Windows 10 after upgrading, and I can't use it after I change motherboards so I'm thinking of having buying Windows 8.1 and then upgrade to Windows 10 again. Is there any issues with this?

I was thinking of going through these steps:

1. Create System repair Disk, System Image, and backing up all my files.
2. Format all my HDD's in my PC and Clean Install.
3. Take apart the old PC and install the new CPU, GPU, Motherboard and HDD into the PC.
4. Turn my computer back on and then when my computer prompts me to put in the Windows 8.1 disk I put it in and Windows 8.1 reinstalls.
5. Install all of the drivers for my GPU and CPU.
6. install Windows 10 for free afterwards.
7. Be happy.

Will this all work?

Are there legitmate copies of Windows 10 yet? Like this one?

I was going to upgrade the OS and install it on two new HDD's i'm going to buy because it seems like much less effort. I've heard there's issues with the Windows installation USB's as well.

Thanks for these answers too!

Win 10 has been for sale since day 1.
Yes, what you linked from Amazon is legit.

However....what do you mean by "two new HDD's" ?
If this is two different systems, you need two different licenses.
If this is two drives in ONE system, you do not want the OS on two drives. Serves no purpose, and WILL be confusing.

I have 3 HDD's right now. One is picking up dust which is 1TB, A 500Gb one which currently has Windows 10 & 7 installed, and a 2TB one also in my PC.

I planned on getting rid and formatting the 500GB one taking it out of my PC and putting it away, then replacing it with my 1TB one. I will then install the new Windows 10 onto the 1TB Hard Drive, leaving the 2TB one alone.

Could there be an issue here?

No, no problem. Just don't install the OS on two drives in the same system. Serves no purpose.
