Do i need to update my bios in order to overclock my pentium and to the latest version? if so, how would I do that? would i have to use a flash drive?

probably not. if bought within the past year it most likely has the bios to support it. if not, then just download it on another computer, put it on a flash drive, then boot into the bios, and flash the new bios. when did you buy your motherboard and from where? also can you tell me what rev. it is?
