Help cpu gets too hot

my cpu is 60C idle and when I run games it goes from 80-100C.I re did the thermal paste and Im getting same results.Specs are
a10-5800k with stock cooler
650ti
8gb

How much paste are you using? Is the base of the cooler flat? Fan plugged in? Using a hair dryer for a case fan? That is running hot and probably throttling your CPU.

You only need a spot of paste about the size of a grain or rice. Check the cooler and make sure it is sitting flat on the CPU. Are you overclocked?

You can use a straight edge like a razor blade, laying on the base and looking for light underneath it, both on the CPU and cooler. Then when you put it back on, tighten it down evenly.

Lay the sharp edge of the blade across the base of the cooler (and the top of the CPU), and see if you can see light between them. Turn the blade 90 degrees and check again. This will tell you if the surfaces are flat. If they are not making almost perfect metal to metal contact, they can't transfer heat efficiently.
