Can an EVGA 850W Gold PSU crossfire 2 R9 390s?

My specs are:
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
FX8350 black edition @ 4.2 GHz
4x4GB DDR3 1600 CL9 RAM
h100i gtx cooler
1x SSD, 1x HDD

I ask because looking around people say 850 is the minimum, I'm not exactly running a lot of stuff relative to what I see around. Just wanted some second opinions :D

Also wouldn't mind getting some personal opinions on which R9 390 to get

I tier 1 850w PSU should work, or a 1000w tier 2 or 3 would be good. (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html) The MSI twin frozr R9 390s are amazing but they are sometimes hard to find in stock. The XFX R9 390 Black Edition would be another good choice (my gpu) or you could get the standard edition for a little less.
