i've seen people trying to sell old tech on sites like ebay, and while there are of course some sales its not a very booming business.

the only thing which might bring a bit of money is the motherboard, and even then we are talking perhaps $20 after fees and such. not worth making an ebay sale honestly. the cpu sells for dirt. the ram sells for dirt. the video card people want $15 but it will not sell since it is so old. the hard drive you want to destroy since it might have personal data. the power supply is not worth reselling since it is dangerous to do so (if it fails you could have ebay case against you).

honestly i would start fresh, all new components. you can get some low price current components for a new build easy enough...
cpu could be a single core athlon64 or sempron or perhaps dual core athlon x2 or athlon fx.
given its age, its most likely XP though if purchased as older tech it could have vista

personally i would consider it a junker, although there are some people here who would object and say it has a use and should be kept. xp is fairly insecure compared to newer OS, the hardware is so old its not going to play any current games or run new programs well. you could use it as an experimental machine but considering the low cost for entry level machines today which can run circles around that old machine its not practical as a daily driver.

my old system from 2004 was a single core amd64 3500+ (not the best at the time, but fairly decent) on the 939 board (previous socket to yours) with a 7800gtx graphics card (the 7300 was an entry level card at the time while the 7800 was high end). it played games fairly in its day but after 5 years or so it was not able to play the latest games very well and eventually i built a new system in 2010. after sitting in storage for awhile i finally scrapped it earlier this year. i would have given it away if it was practical to do so.. but not many people like to play with old machines.

tldr: if you want to experiment with an old pc or perhaps create a system to play old win95/98/xp/vista era games then you might find some use for it.. but as a daily driver i think it is worth spending a bit of money and getting something newer. if you have absolutely no money to spend and have zero budget... it may be worth keeping as well.. but there are freebie computers out there which are far newer.

as for the psu, no you do NOT want to re-use it in a build. i would never trust a 10 year old power supply no matter how high quality it was at the time. if you want to use it in this system fine, but i would not take it out and try to use it in another machine using parts you bought.

ram is not compatible with current tech, likely the dvd drive is old ribbon cable so not compatible if its sata it is but still not worth keeping, case is probably compatible but likely has small fans and poor airflow which is common in that era, cpu/mobo not compatible with newer tech than whats listed, cooler only good for that socket mobo, video cards if pcie might be compatible if you could find driver support (not likely) but are so old they are pretty much worthless. hard drive might be usable if sata but its going to be slow and honestly not much account given you cannot trust it to last.

your choice on what you do, just my thoughts.
