I am going to build my first pc and I was wondering if these parts would all work together. I am going to use it for heavy gaming (GTA V, Fallout 4, Battlefield 4, etc.) and schoolwork/productivity. I was also wondering if I should use the stock cooler that comes with the cpu or buy a third party one(please suggest one if needed). Any criticism or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like a solid build i would do as TechneeQ says and i noticed you have a z97 but an non overclockable cpu so that means you can get a h97 0r b85 Board to save some Money if you are not getting the overclockable cpu.
