I have an i7 970 and a GTX 970, i'm trying to play the arma 2 dayz mod and i'm getting a very stutter-y fps. The game will be on 20fps, then 33fps, then 10fps, then 60fps, it just spikes all the time, when i put my settings on the lowest of low, it still does that, and when i put it on the max settings, it still does it, any help pls?

Don't get me wrong but ARMA 2 is a very badly optimized game, i used to have that problem too, but in the end, it's just the game that's screwin up. There doesn't seem to be a fix, unless you're willing to mod, maybe there's something out therem but all in all, your sysyem's fine
