So I have a router in my house, the main pc is connected directly to it... Lately the internet on the main pc has been getting very slow, and today it seems to be nearly completely nonfunctional. Things such as teamspeak, or chats in steam work perfectly fine, but loading any web pages takes ages and download speed doesn't go over 1kb/s... At the same time, wifi given out from the same router works perfectly fine...

Also one thing I noticed when downloading on steam, it seems that disk usage stays at 0bytes/s all the time...

Solution
Nevermind, did some digging on other forums, some self experimenting and fixed it.

If anyone else has a similar problem:
Take out the ethernet cable from the modem and pc, clean both ports and make sure the cable is fine, then plug in, if it doesn't work, try a different port on the modem
