Any thermal paste with any CPU / Cooler?

Hey,
Upgrading my CPU to a 6600K, so I am needing new thermal paste for it / my Kraken X61.

Question is, I have a tube of thermal paste that came with a Cooler Master Seidon 120V - is it okay to use this with these two components? (Unsure if cooler master paste will react with NZXT cooler etc, I know this is 99.9% fine, but no harm in checking?)

Also is this an okay paste? I know differences between good and ok compounds is a couple of celcius anyway, but it'd be nice to check :p

Good read is that! Might pop out and grab myself some toothpaste ;)

Handy I can use this cooler master I have lying around, thanks :D

Yeah the stuff from your CM Seidon will work fine, just make sure you clean everything up properly before putting any new thermal compound one. The CM paste isn't the top end of the market, but it isnt the bottom either. The top end from the lower end is a difference of a few degrees so its not a huge deal unless your trying to squeeze every bit of performance out of an overclock.
