ok first let me ask about a problem i am having with a game the game is mordeheim city of the dammed i am getting white line on it but dont know why.My gpu is a R9270x and 8 gig ram and amd fx8320 not overclocked. What can it be?now too second question would it help if i turned in bois the stepping up of the cpu from 3.5ghz to 4.1ghz boost? And just overclock it too 4.2ghz and let it run all the time at that speed?Would it create better performance and will it give more heat?I have a asus M5a97 R.20 LE motherboard and a coolermaster hyper212x cooler. On core temp my tj max is 90 celcius. And it never climbs above 60 celcius.

Solution
Overclocking your cpu should net you a decent boost in performance for everything but gaming. The boost in gaming will be more minimal due to your fps mostly being controlled by your gpu however, you will still probably see some gains. You will also see an increase in produced heat but the 212 evo should keep it cool at 4.2Ghz.
