Hello everyone,
I've been working on my build and I want to get the best bang for my buck. The purchase parts I'm taking from my old build with the exception of the psu which is new.
I wanted to know if it might be worth spending a little extra for the Z170 mobo, even if I don't buy an unlocked processor now? I know I can use faster ram and I suppose they have some extra features (usb 3.1, m2 slot, etc). Do you think it's worth it?
This build is really used for a little photoshop, some gaming (Fallout 4, Heroes of the Storm, and some older games). I just want to make sure I'm taking the best route for my build. My last build has gone about 7 years (processor is 5 years old) but I'd like to go with a mini-itx build and something a little more energy efficient.
Any thoughts on a good upgrade for a video card would be appreciated (1080p gaming), don't have to upgrade the 750TI now but I'd like to keep an eye out for deals.
