Just as the title says, will the CX500M work on this build? FIrst build btw.

Pc Specs:

AMD FX 8320 (which i plan to overclock to least 4.2/4.3 ghz)
MSI 970a SLI Krait Edition
Hyperx Fury 2x4 1866 mhz.
MSI GTX 960 2gd5t/4gd5t (still thinking about this decision)

(if this components matter as well)
WD 1tb 7200rpm
Samsung 850 EVO 120gb ssd
CM Hyper 212 EVO
Corsair AF120 case fans (about 3 or 4 max)
Still deciding wich case

Also will a EVGA SuperNova 550 gs be like suuuper overkill? Because here where i live prices are terrible (a lot), and i got the opportunity to buy pc stuff from outside, and i dont want any component to break or something so i thought an 80 plus gold would be pretty good.
Any reply is appreciated!
pd: sorry if i misspelled anything.

Preety much anything is better than the CX. You want at least 600W gold rated PSU. Corsair have the RM series, you can also choose something from EVGA, Seasonic.

Just go with the 4gb R9 380 and you will not regret it. This card paired with some decent other hardware is just just behind the GTX 970 in most games and for the price you pay.......is just unbeatable.
If you dont want anything to break, you should avoid the CX series from Corsair. The motherboard is not that good if you want to OC that high. If you are on a tight budget and want to OC the CPU, I suggest the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P. The GPU is a bit overpriced for it's performance. You can get for the same money the R9 380 which is laughing at the GTX 960 in every game.

Yeah i was looking for the 380 as well. Do you think the Sapphire radeon r9 380 OC 4GB dual-x nitro is good? Is a lot cheaper where i am looking. Also the mobo for some reason seems to be really overpriced as hell here dont know why. I heard good things about the M5A97 LE R 2.0... Is it a good overclocking motherboard? Thanks for the fast reply!

The R9 380 is ALOT better than the GTX 960 and even works better with AMD CPU's.
The Gigabyte 970A UD3P rev 2.0 is the best budget motherboard for overclocking. If budget is not a problem then go with the latest chipset not the 970.

What's available to you ??

In order in my eyes for 970 boards.

1.gigabyte 970a-ud3p
2.MSI gaming 970
3.Asus m5a97 r2 (not the le version)
4.that asrock you picked & the MDI 970 krait.

PSU wise - look for a seasonic 520, any xfx 550 or evga 550 b2/g2/GS series.
