Hope you've had a good celebration if you celebrate anything at this time of year.
I am having a problem with my computer. I have recently, this morning actually, installed a new R9 280x after my old 280x stopped displaying anything around December 21st. Anyway, I have installed the new AMD drivers (the one that has tabs along the bottom for things like gaming and video). I have tried to launch CS:GO to make sure the card works properly. It loads fine however when I connect to a Deathmatch game, the game essentially crashes. I hear a loop of gunshots which also helps me solidify the idea that it is crashing. A similar thing is happening with DotA 2. GTA V also has this problem when I try to load into the actual playable game itself. This is happening with each game I have tried so far. (I restarted the PC after installing the new drivers). When I first installed the card, without the new drivers just the current AMD drivers I had installed, the GPU was sometimes not getting recognised and the windows glass thing (not sure what it is called) went to clear instead of blue which I have it set to. the Windows glass thing is now blue on it's own when the card is recognised and the whole "not recognised" thing has not happened since. I can use the internet and things fine. It's just the games crashing. I have not removed the old drivers that were on before (if I can even do that)
I have no idea what to do. I spent all my Christmas money on this new card and this problem is the last thing I need
