what has the biggest impact on CPU, bots or players

Ok, so I downloaded a... "Free" copy of Rocket League just to check performance on my low end laptop (a6-4400m and HD 7520G) and in 3v3 mode with bots I got around 45fps, which is fine for a PS3 console peasant who is used to play everything at 30fps. But the real question is, do bots have a bigger impact on performance, or players do? When I buy the Steam version to play online, will I have bigger or minor performance than playing with bots?

My GPU is supposed to be better than the PS3, but it gets really hot after 5 minutes on the BF4 CTE, and it can't even reach 20 fps on low settings, the dual core @ 2.7 GHz is really holding me back :/
Anyway, what you said makes total sense, I think i'll take advantage of the steam sales!

P. S: I don't know how to quote from my cellphone

Rocket league is a PC and "next-gen" console game, not a PS3 game. A PS4/XB1 has a better APU than you do. The PS4 has an HD7870 equivalent GPU.

That is obvious. But it doesn't remove the fact that the PS4 drops below 30fps on 3v3, and when you have an unlocked frame rate that is just sh... Not good. My pc can handle 3v3 when using bots and never drop below 30fps, so I locked the frame rate at 30fps and it's actually enjoyable.
