Hello, I'm Moe. Not much to say about myself, but I've been thinking about building one system for myself (1,300$ USD for my budget which the OS has been accounted for).

The CPU is going to be paired with an EVGA GTX 970 ACX 2.0 cooler.

I'm currently debating on the 2 CPU families in Intel.

But I'm using longevity and performance over time as 2 points for a better decision.

I'm gonna use 16GB of RAM for those tasks, and I do plan on overclocking to get the best performance and value worth. (H100i GTX AIO)

Would I benefit from getting the 6700k and DDR4 RAM or can I still do away with 4790k?

Thank you, and have an awesome time!

Solution
Either/or will be fine, 6700K is a little stronger and will take you further down the road as far as upgrading and having components that can move on to the next level
