evening all,
I'll be swapping out my GPU on my PC tomorrow, from an AMD to NVidia and just wanted to double check the process I have in mind is correct as didn't want to mess anything up...
specs:
CPU: FX8350
GPU: R9 270X
8GB RAM
XFX550W PSU
M5a97 evo REV 2 MB
New GPU: GTX960
Process:
Uninstall current drivers using "Display Driver Uninstaller" tonight, and remove R9.
Install the GTX, run the GeForce experience programme which I've downloaded and ready to go from my desktop and use that programme to install the latest driver.
Is this all that's needed for a successful install without any driver clashes, also, the FX don't have any graphics so will the PC still be able to function for me to install GeForce experience + Drivers, albeit at a really low res until drivers installed??
Thanks
