So when there is a slot on the left it is a B key if there is a slot on the right it is a M key if there is a slot on both sides is a B+M key.

here is the thing.

M keys only will NOT fit into B Keys only
B Keys only will NOT fit into M Keys only
But a B+M Key SSD WILL fit into EITHER a M key only, B Key only or a M+B key only. Most SSD's are B+M

Also that SSD will work with either one of those two adapters.

Just make sure you have a 9 Series Chipset or higher on the Intel boards. The 8 series and below may not support booting from PCIe. If you just want it as extra storage and NOT a boot drive you are find with pretty much any PC

Thank you! I was about to buy the m.2 drive and adapter for my z87 board, so I wasn't going to be able to boot from it.
