Hello, I've been looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between getting an MSI GTX 960 or an MSI GTX 970, I realise there is a massive price gap and I'm not sure if it is worth investing extra money for the 970. My current processor is AMD and so is my current GPU with a 500watt power supply. And I really would appreciate if someone could tell me if it is worth investing into the 970 or if the 960 will do the job I want it to, the games I'm looking to play in High Quality in 1080p with good FPS really consists off; The Witcher 3, GTA V, Starwars Battlefront 3, Battlefield Hardline/4 and CS:GO.

I'd appreciate if someone could advise me on which would be best suited to the games I want to play and if it is worth the investment into the 970 or not.

Solution
That will depend on at least two major factors. 1) exactly which AMD CPU are you running, and 2) the make/model of the "500W" PSU you are using.
The 970 is definitely worth the money difference if you have the equipment to support it.
