My connection is suddenly extremely slow

Hello, I am experiencing a weird problem for the past couple of days.

I have a 60/6 Mbit connection, and my (Window 10) PC is connected to a router wirelessly. Everything was just fine in the past, I was getting fair speeds when testing my connection, but I've noticed something is not right two or three days ago. The browsing was incredibly slow, I couldn't even play a 360p YouTube video without waiting for it to buffer. I did a speed test and the result was (and stil is) around 1-2 Mbits for download, and around 6 for upload (so the upload is pretty much all right, no speed drops there).

It is not caused by my ISP, nor the router, as the other PCs and mobile devices are just fine. ALSO, when I run my PC in Safe Mode with networking, internet works great at full speed.

I've tried restarting the PC, the router, the wireless adapter, manually changing DNS servers of my wifi adapter to Google's DNS servers, I also scanned my PC with licenced NOD32 (it found some threats, and sucessfully quaranteened them). I also tried booting to safe mode, and I scanned my PC with both Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and Spy Hunter 4 - both had found pretty high amount of threats (150 and 270), mostly in PC registry, and deleted them. Then, I booted my PC normally, but the problem persists.

Do you have any idea, what could be causing the problem? I'm not sure whether I understand the concept of safe mode or not, but AFAIK when the PC is booted in the safe mode, it means it doesn't start any additional processes (other the system reserved) on startup. And as my connection is just fine in safe mode, it must mean some application/process, which runs in the background must be causing it. Would it be helpful if I posted a screenshot of my task manager?

Thank you very much,
Kristian

I was having the same problem. Try reseting your motem. But first unplug your router for 30 seconds, then your modem for 2 minutes. Then plug your modem back in, and after 30 seconds your router. This won't always work, but its always a good Idea to make sure everything has been reset or plugged in right.
