Anti static bag on gpu

Hi guys I just bought a gpu called zotac gtx 980 to amp extreme, it says on the manual don't take it out of the anti static bag until you are ready to install, but I had to take it out to make sure it's actually in there and it's not damaged, I put it back in the bag and back in the box, will my card be okay? Am I just tripping

Perfectly fine, I put my card everywhere. You can have it outside of the bag, it's perfectly safe outside. They just stick it in there so you don't go and damage the card accidentally when you're not grounded. Feel free to put the card on wooden tables, cardboard boxes, etc. Absolutely no concern.

Just make sure you're grounded when you handle the card.
