I wanted to ask your opinion on the OC I did on my Asus GTX 970 Strix. I used Asus GPU Tweak.

Here are my GPU Tweak settings:
-GPU Boost Clock: 1400
-Max GPU Voltage: 1200
-Memory Clock: 8000
-Power Target: 120
-GPU Temp Target: 80

Unigine Heaven 4.0 Settings and results

Settings:
Render: Direct3D11
Mode: 1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen
Preset: Custom
Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: Extreme

Results:
FPS: 61
Score: 1544
Min FPS: 25
Max FPS: 128

Please tell me if you need any more info. I just want to know if this is a safe overclock to run and how did I do for a first timer in overclocking :) :D

Those are good numbers. I never ran Heaven with my i5-4690K (4.5 GHz) / Evga GTX 970 (stock), and I don't have that rig at my disposal right now to test it. But I do have some results recorded from Firestrike if you want to compare those.

That score nearly doubles my GTX 960 for what that is worth.

I ran Firestrike and got a score of 10351 (Better than 86% of all the results).

My next question is, how much impact does and overclocked CPU (i5 4690k in my case) have on these numbers? And how much should I OC the CPU by to get some impact on these numbers? I'm a new guy to overclocking so your advice is appreciated alot :)

I don't have a comparison saved between the i5-4690K @ stock and @ OC with the GTX 970. But I do have one using my R9-290X: http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/4284220/fs/5723807#
About a 2% to 8% performance increase in Firestrike between the stock and OC'ed i5-4690k.
