After extensive research, I found many different mice with many different amounts of features. Even after that, I'd still like the help of a professional. I'm looking for a mouse that is very accurate, smooth, and sensitive. The one problem I have with my current mouse (the wireless Logitech M305 with a DPI of 1000) is that when playing games such as Skyrim, I have to pick up my mouse and replace it on the mouse pad. So I'd like to get a mouse that is accurate and sensitive so I don't have to pick up and move my mouse. Not only would I like to find a mouse like that, I'd also like an answer to a question. Is the Redragon M801 Mammoth 16400 DPI superior or inferior to the Logitech G502 Proteus Core 12000 DPI?

Solution
I can't comment on the M801 Mammoth, but I own and I'm using a G502 Proteus Core. It's a fantastic mouse for me. Very comfortable for extended gaming(several hours) and general browsing. This is coming from a Razer Mamba 2012. I have mine set at 8200 DPI, and moving about about 1.5 inch left to right on my mousepad will take me end to end on my 34" monitor. I've tried 12,000 but for me it's just too fast, literally. I end up clicking the wrong things. I can't imagine needing 16,400. To me it's just marketing to generate sales at this point. However, all this being said, most gaming mice use the same or similar sensors, and you can't argue w/ the price of the M801 Mammoth.

Thanks, that helped way more than the hours of research I did before. I'll definitely get the G502, but maybe sometime after buying it I'll buy the M801 and compare the two.
