Less than 30 FPS in Dota 2 with GTX 970 - Please help

Somewhat recently I noticed a dramatic drop in FPS when playing Dota. I did a clean install last week to Windows 10 and downloaded the most recent Nvidia drivers. My chipset and other hardware is a lot older, but I’m not sure if that’s causing the issue. Can anyone advise me on what the problem might be? Any guidance would be appreciated.

It's your CPU. or your ram perhaps because of how slow it's running, only 1066mhz. That's slower than the typical slow 1333mhz ram which is below the standard 1600mhz.

Or it's because your old motherboard isn't Windows 10 compatible.

Dota2 reborn seem have issue, I got this issue too. Game run very slow below 30 fps even 20 on system normaly get 60. Maybe you should try diffirent driver for vga, set fps_max to 60fps or better via console. disable v-syn. Some time when I get the issue I have to restart PC, also check vga driver to set performance to high some time vgp just dont go max power.
Ram speed doesnot matter even ddr2 you play all new game well slow ram maybe get you 1-2 fps lower. get new ssd, and check if you have 100% hdd bug on win10, that also the problem.
